PTC News Desk: Amitabh Bachchan's recent contemplative post about Kailash Parbat piqued the interest of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who responded with invitations to various places of interest in India. On X (formerly Twitter), Amitabh Bachchan shared his fascination with the religiosity, mystery, and divinity of Mount Kailash but expressed his regret that he would never be able to visit the sacred place in person.

In response, PM Modi acknowledged Mr. Bachchan's sentiment and shared his own recent experiences visiting Parvati Kund and Jageshwar Temples, describing the visits as truly mesmerizing. He then extended invitations to Amitabh Bachchan, urging him to visit the upcoming Rann Utsav in Kutch and the Statue of Unity in Vadodara.

PM Modi had previously visited the Gauri Kund, a holy site for Hindus in Pithoragarh district, Uttarakhand, on October 12. During his visit, he caught a glimpse of the Adi Kailash peak, believed to be the abode of Lord Shiva. The Prime Minister donned traditional attire, complete with a white turban and 'ranga' (upper body garment). He performed aarti at the Shiva Parvati temple near Parvati Kund in Jolingkong and meditated with folded hands before the Adi Kailash peak. His visit also included interactions with locals in Gunji village and attendance at an exhibition displaying local artifacts, alongside Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.

Amitabh Bachchan, who recently celebrated his 81st birthday, expressed his gratitude and affection toward his fans and supporters in a heartfelt Instagram post. He thanked them for their love and support, emphasizing that their affection was beyond any effort to repay it.

The exchange between Amitabh Bachchan and PM Modi highlights their mutual admiration and respect, reflecting the harmonious relationship between Indian cinema and political leadership.
