PTC News Web Desk: On October 12, Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan celebrated his 81st birthday, a milestone that garnered an outpouring of well-wishes from fans, colleagues, and family members. Among the warm greetings, a particular Instagram post by his daughter-in-law, the renowned actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, caught the attention of fans, but not for the reasons one might expect.

Aishwarya took to Instagram to mark the special day with a photograph featuring her daughter, Aaradhya, and the iconic "Sholay" actor. The caption accompanying the post read, "Always, God Blesssss." However, what made this post remarkable was that it was edited from a family photograph initially shared by Amitabh's daughter, Shweta Bachchan-Nanda. In Shweta's original photograph, the entire Bachchan clan, including Navya Naveli Nanda and Agastya Nanda (Shweta's children) and Aaradhya, could be seen posing for a group photo alongside Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan.

Aishwarya's post, on the other hand, was deliberately cropped to include only Amitabh and Aaradhya, conspicuously leaving out Jaya, Navya, and Agastya. This edit didn't go unnoticed by eagle-eyed netizens, who were quick to react.

One Instagram user expressed their disapproval, stating, "Why did you have to crop the other kids (Navya and Agastya) from the publicly available photo. If you wanted to post just Aaradhya & Big B photo, you could have used another one. It's really tasteless!"

Another comment hinted at potential discord within the Bachchan family, saying, "The wishes seem so plastic. Wonder how celebrities with all the privacy in the world have friction in families."

Reddit users also weighed in on the incident, as it was shared in a Bollywood-related subreddit. One Reddit user questioned the decision, saying, "But is this for real?? Hamare ghar me bhi kalesh hote par aise harkate to mami aur bua tak nai karte. Why are they airing their dirty laundry over the internet? Where's the first family of Bollywood class."

However, some commenters suggested that people might be overanalyzing the situation, and that Aishwarya has consistently shared pictures of Amitabh and Aaradhya when wishing him a happy birthday, with no ulterior motive. The incident served as a reminder that even in the world of celebrities, family dynamics and social media interactions can be a subject of public scrutiny.
