Zirakpur accident: BMW with Himachal Pradesh registration hit bike, one dead

After the collision, the car's airbags deployed, but the bike sustained significant damage.

PTC News Desk: At after 11 p.m. on Wednesday, a speeding BMW collided with their motorcycle at the Lohgarh light point, resulting in one fatality and two critical injuries.

Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh's Sahib passed away, and Sumit and Rajvir, two locals of Pabhat, suffered critical injuries. The driver of the car left the car behind and ran off.

Witnesses claimed that while the trio was turning to face Pabhat side, the BMW, which had a registration number from Himachal Pradesh, struck them on the bike from the Patiala side.


Gursewak, a victim's brother, claimed that the bike was thrown into the air and collided with a truck when the car struck the young people. After the collision, the car's airbags went on, but the bike sustained significant damage.

After the three were taken to a Zirakpur private hospital, driver Sahib was pronounced dead by the medical staff. The matter is being looked upon the police.
