Rajasthan: One injured and 3 arrested in an encounter between police and Lawrence Bishnoi gang
As per to the information, the gang had been trying to extort money from a businessman
Jaipur, March 17: On Thursday evening, in an encounter between the police in Rajasthan’s Ganganagar and Lawrence Bishnoi's gang there were three members arrested and one injured.
As per to information from the police, the Bishnoi gang was trying to extort money from a businessman. Lawrence Bishnoi's brother, Anmol Bishnoi, threatened the businessman over the phone before sending two of his aides to his house, the police informed.

Since last few months, police have been monitoring the money exchange. The police formed teams keep trace and keep a tap on the three members of the gang and all of them are believed to be residents of Punjab's Fazilka district. According to the information, there is a probe which is indicating that the criminals were hiding in Rajasthan’s Ganganagar.
When the police team arrived in the city for the encounter and the search operation, there was open firing. One of the criminals open fired at the police and also received bullet injuries in his leg. After the continous firing, the three criminals were put into police custody, among them one of them are undergoing treatment at a government hospital.
As per to the police, the three were acting under the orders of Anmol Bishnoi.
