The officer had been battling for her life since July 17 when she was brutally attacked by a mess worker at her official residence in Punjab's Pathankot. The authorities confirmed her demise during the evening hours on Saturday, around 6:30 pm, as stated by Senior Superintendent of Police Harkamalpreet Singh Khakh.
