Independence Day 2024: In a rare moment of camaraderie, Indians and Pakistanis came together in London to celebrate their respective Independence Days. The heartwarming celebration, captured in a viral video, highlights a shared appreciation for Indian cinema and music, rising above the traditional rivalry between the two nations.

India and Pakistan observe their Independence Days just one day apart—Pakistan on August 14 and India on August 15. This year's celebration in London gained attention as people from both countries united to sing iconic songs such as "Jai Ho" from the Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire and AR Rahman's rendition of "Vande Mataram."

The video, shared online amidst ongoing violent riots in the UK targeting minorities and immigrants, features a musician named Vish leading the crowd with a standing microphone. Attendees, dressed mainly in white, waved flags from India, Pakistan, and the UK while singing together on a London street.
