Diljit Dosanjh pauses Germany concert to share inspirational life lessons from Ratan Tata

PTC News Desk: Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh made a heartfelt tribute to Ratan Tata during his concert in Germany after receiving the sad news of the iconic industrialist's death on Wednesday. A video from the concert has emerged online, capturing the emotional moment when Diljit paused the performance to pay his respects to Tata.

In his tribute, Diljit reflected on the invaluable life lessons he learned from Ratan Tata, even though he never had the chance to meet him personally. "You all know Ratan Tata has passed away. This is a small tribute to him from me. It’s important for me to take his name today because he was a man who always worked hard in life," Diljit expressed in Punjabi.

He continued to honor Tata's character, saying, "Whatever I have heard and read about him, I never saw him speak wrong or bad about anyone. He always worked hard, did good work, and was helpful." Diljit emphasised the importance of these qualities, stating, "This is life; this is how one should be."

Sharing a powerful message inspired by Tata's life, Diljit said, "If there is one thing we can learn from his life, it is that we should work hard, think positive, be helpful, and live life to its fullest."

Ratan Tata, the former chairman of the Tata Group, passed away at the age of 86 at Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai, where he had been receiving treatment for a prolonged illness. His death has left a significant void in the business world and among those who admired his contributions to industry and society. Diljit Dosanjh's tribute highlights the lasting impact of Tata's legacy on individuals from all walks of life.
