PTC News Desk: In Punjab's Tarn Taran district, Border Security Forces (BSF) personnel made a significant discovery, uncovering a damaged drone of Chinese origin. According to reports released on Wednesday, the recovery operation took place in a farming field adjacent to Dal village in Tarn Taran.

The events leading to the recovery unfolded during routine area domination patrolling conducted by BSF troops on Tuesday morning. Around 11:20 am, while patrolling ahead of the border fence in Tarn Taran district, a distinct crushing sound caught the attention of the patrol team. Investigation revealed that the sound emanated from a reaper machine engaged in straw collection within a wheat field.

Upon closer inspection, the BSF team halted the machine and made a startling discovery: a drone lay crushed beneath the reaper, significantly damaged from the impact. The recovered drone, identified as a China-manufactured DJI Mavic 3 Classic, bore testament to the ongoing challenges posed by illicit drone activities across the border.

In response to the recovery, the BSF underscored its unwavering commitment to combatting the drone threat emanating from neighbouring territories. The discovery highlights the relentless efforts of BSF personnel in curbing illegal drone incursions and safeguarding the integrity of border regions.
