Kohli has extended his reign as India's most valued celebrity, increasing his overall brand value by nearly 29% this year. Kohli had a successful season with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL). The former India captain arrived at the T20 World Cup after winning the coveted Orange Cap in the exciting league.

Kohli also topped the ODI World Cup batting charts last year. The 35-year-old broke numerous batting records as India advanced to the World Cup final in 2023. The batting legend won the ICC ODI Player of the Year award and was also named to the ICC Men's ODI Team of the Year.

According to Kroll, Kohli's brand value was USD 227.9 million in 2023. The Indian team's talismanic batter achieved new heights in 2020, with a brand value of USD 237.7 million. Kohli remained ahead of Bollywood actor Ranveer, who finished second with a brand value of USD 203.1 million. According to the Celebrity Brand Valuation Report 2023, celebrated actor Shah Rukh ranked third with a total brand value of USD 120.7 million in 2023.
