PTC News Desk: On Sunday, the Indian delegation will go to the second day of the Paris Olympics 2024, following a mixed day at work. On the first day, Indian athletes demonstrated once more that they are not just in Paris to make up the numbers. There were also some heartbreaking moments and some momentous moments. With medals up for grabs, shooting will be the main event on Sunday, but archery has the opportunity to make history as well.
On day two, a number of well-known athletes will take center stage. Activities offered in Paris include swimming, table tennis, badminton, rowing, and much more. In light of this, let's examine the well-known figures that will steal the show on day two of the Paris Olympics.

For Manu Bhaker, winning an Olympic medal is the ultimate goal. A defective gun prevented the accomplished shooter from making it to the Tokyo Games final in the same event. But on Sunday, she might become the first female shooter from India to win an Olympic medal, ending the country's 12-year streak of placing on the podium in the Games.

Deepika Kumari
Even though Deepika Kumari didn't have the best of days throughout the archery ranking rounds, the team managed to get to the quarterfinals. This time, Deepika is going to lead from the front to make sure that a medal is won on Saturday.
Nikhat Zareen
Two-time world champion Nikhat Zareen, one of the most talented medal contenders from India, will begin her career in the women's 50kg boxing competition. On Sunday, she will play Maxi Cloetzer in the round of 32.
Sumit Nagal
Sumit Nagal hopes to maybe emulate Leander Paes's incredible feats from the 1996 Olympics and make a historic run for the medals. In the opening round of the men's singles on Sunday, Nagal will take on Corentin Moutet of France.
