T20I IND vs WI: Kuldeep Yadav seeks blessings of Bageshwar Dham Baba ahead of match
PTC News Desk: Seeking blessing by paying obeisance to various spiritual places ahead of match has been seen among several Indian cricketers. Pictures and videos of several Indian cricketers went viral as they visit religious places, temples, or seek blessings from spiritual leaders before important matches or tournaments.
Recently, the picture of Indian spinner and star bowler Kuldeep Yadav is doing viral on Internet in which he can be seen seeking blessing of controversial religious Baba Dhirendra Kumar Shastri at Bageshwar Dham temple in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh.
Kuldeep Yadav who is selected for T20I series against the West Indies, paid obeisance at the Bageshwar Dham temple ahead of series where he will be playing both the white-ball series next month.
In the viral picture which is doing rounds on Internet, Kuldeep Yadav can be seen sitting with his hands folded and besides the feet of Dhirendra Shastri.
The official Twitter handle of the Bageshwar Dham Sarkar also posted the pictures of Kuldeep Yadav with Dhirendra Kumar Shastri and wrote, "Kuldeep Yadav, the spin magician of Indian cricket and dear darling of the respected government, visited Dham to celebrate the birth anniversary of the respected government and also took the blessings of the respected government.”
Notably, BCCI announced the India’s squad for T20I series against West Indies and also announced the schedule of ODI’s between India and West Indies
India’s T20I squad: Ishan Kishan (wk), Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Tilak Varma, Surya Kumar Yadav (VC), Sanju Samson (wk), Hardik Pandya (C), Axar Patel, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Ravi Bishnoi, Arshdeep Singh, Umran Malik, Avesh Khan, Mukesh Kumar.
T20I Series schedule: The 1st T20I series between India and West Indies to take place on August 3 at Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Trinidad and the 2nd, 3rd , 4th and 5th T20I series on August 6, 8 , 12 and 13th respectively.
