PTC News Desk: Sarabjot Singh, an Indian shooter, gained notoriety for his valiant performances during the Olympic Games in Paris. He won the bronze medal in the mixed team 10m air pistol event alongside Manu Bhaker. The government of Haryana extended Sarabjot an offer of employment upon his return home, but he chose to decline it. While many Indian athletes lament the lack of financial support and encouragement they receive on their travels, Sarabjot believes that he is not yet at the ideal point in his career to take a position in the government.

Sarabjot disclosed that while his family is eager for him to secure a respectable career, shooting is still his primary focus at this time. "Although the position is wonderful, I won't accept it at this time. "I want to prioritize my shooting," Sarabjot said to the media.

"My desire is to pursue shooting, but my family has also been urging me to obtain a respectable job." He said, "I can't take a job right now because I don't want to go against the decisions that I have made."

Despite finishing in third place, Sarabjot and Manu's desire for success at the highest level has not diminished, even though they united to win the bronze medal for the Olympics mixed team in the Paris Games.

"My primary objective remains unfulfilled. I'm hoping to accomplish my major objective by 2028. I used to promise myself that I would give Paris my all in my private journal. I haven't yet given it my all, though. In a conversation with India Today, Sarabjot stated, "My goal is to go for gold in 2028."

Sarabjot, who is still only 22 years old, is already focused on the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. The youthful pistol shooter is aiming for a gold medal in four years, after failing to secure an individual medal in Paris.
