2025 Champions Trophy: The Indian cricket team is unlikely to travel to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy 2025, according to reports. Pakistan was given the opportunity to host the event next year, however Team India's visit to the neighbouring country has been put off due to historical and political tensions between the two nations since independence.

The BCCI allegedly reaffirmed its decision not to send Team India to Pakistan. The Champions Trophy will most likely be contested in a hybrid format between February and March. A couple of tournament matches are expected to be scheduled in either the UAE or Sri Lanka, according to a person familiar with the development.

The Men in Blue did not travel to Pakistan for the 2023 Asia Cup, instead playing their matches in Sri Lanka. However, the Men in Green toured India for the ODI World Cup last year and were eliminated from the tournament's league round.
