SGPC intensifies protest seeking release of 'Bandi Singh'

Amritsar, September 12:  Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee staged protest at the district headquarters for the release of the Bandi Singhs. A huge motorcycle protest was staged from the local Gurudwara Saragarhi Hertigae Marg and will continue till Amritsar’s DC office.

The protest was carried out under the leadership of Shiromani Committee President Harjinder Singh Dhami. In the meantime, President Advocate Dhami, Shiromani Committee members, employees and others leaders were also present at the protest. ਬੰਦੀ-ਸਿੰਘਾਂ-ਦੀ-ਰਿਹਾਈ-ਲਈ-3 The protesters carried out protest wearing black clothes, turbans and chains all around their necks. The decision for staging protest was taken in the meeting of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC). On Friday, Karnail Singh Panjoli further urged all Sikh organizations and Sikhs to join the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee campaign for the release of the captive Singhs. -PTC News
