Sewa, saanjh kendras in Punjab to remain open on Sundays too

Chandigarh, April 7: Following the directions of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the government has increased the daily timings of all 320 sewa kendras and 506 saanjh kendras across the state. These centres would also remain open on Sundays. The new timing would come into force from April 15, 2022. Terming the initiative as people-friendly, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said it would be instrumental in delivering more citizen-centric services to the public in a seamless manner.

The timings of sewa kendras and saanjh kendras across Punjab have now been extended by two hours daily on weekday. From Monday to Friday, these will now remain open from 8 am to 6 pm as against 9 am to 5 pm earlier. Sewa, saanjh kendras in Punjab to remain open on Sundays too Sewa kendras and saanjh kendras would now also be open on every Sunday and the timings for citizens to avail services on Saturdays and Sundays will be from 8 am to 4 pm.
