WhatsApp users to get 5 seconds to reverse accidental message delete
New Delhi, December 19: In a much needed relief to WhatsApp users who often end up deleting a wrong message, Meta-owned messaging platform on Monday introduced 'Accidental delete' feature, which will act as a new layer of protection.
Ever since WhatsApp introduced the feature of "delete message — Delete for me and Delete for everyone — many users would end up choosing the wrong option and then regretting later. Sending a message to the wrong person or group and accidentally clicked on 'Delete for Me' instead of ‘Delete for Everyone' would often leave many of us in an embarrassing situation.

However, brining an end to this anxiety, WhatsApp has introduced ‘Accidental delete’ feature that would provide users a five-second window to reverse the accidental message delete.
