PTC News Desk: Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter, announced on Friday that the social network has fully migrated to X.com.

Users who visited Twitter.com on Friday were redirected to x.com and were greeted with a pop-up notification - “Welcome to x.com! We are letting you know that we are changing our URL, but your privacy and data protection settings remain the same.”

Earlier in the day, Elon Musk announced on X that the site formerly known as Twitter had been completely migrated to X.com.

He stated, "All core systems are now on X.com."

The billionaire CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, and other companies purchased Twitter for $44 billion in late 2022 and announced the rebranding to X last July. While the logo and branding had been updated to "X", the domain name remained Twitter.com until Friday.
