Punjab's Ludhiana district worst hit by swine flu; 54 cases and 11 deaths in two months

Ludhiana , October 27: Punjab is witnessing an increase in swine flu (H1N1 influenza) case. In the last two months, 54 swine flu cases and 11 deaths have been reported in Ludhiana district, which has become a hotspot for the virus. As many as 10 patients are admitted in hospitals. As per the Health Department, for the first time since 2018, many swine flu cases have been reported in Ludhiana district. Ludhiana district has turned into a hotspot of H1N1 influenza, also known as swine flu, as the maximum number of deaths and cases have been reported from here, the government has confirmed. Swine flu symptoms The symptoms are similar to that of seasonal flu which include fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue.
