Punjab Vidhan Sabha's special session on Nov 8: CM Charanjit Singh Channi

Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi on Wednesday said that the special session of Punjab Vidhan Sabha would be convened on November 8. He also said that the government would not let farm laws implement in the state. Meanwhile, Punjab's Deputy Chief Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa was missing from the meeting. Farmers have been protesting at different sites since November 26 last year against the three enacted farm laws: Farmers' Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020; the Farmers Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and farm Services Act 2020 and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020. -PTC News
