Punjab Vidhan Sabha Monsoon Session Live Updates: Punjab assembly's monsoon session started with obituary references at 11 am on Friday amid coronavirus pandemic. Fifty-two members of the Punjab assembly attended the day-long monsoon session. The assembly was adjourned for an hour after paying tributes to the Galwan martyrs and former Member of Parliament Gurdas Singh Badal among the others. The assembly was convened amid coronavirus pandemic to fulfill the constitutional obligation of meeting within 6 months of the last session where Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) members skipped the meet because of the Covid-19 protocol after 30 Punjab MLAs tested positive.
