Punjab Government to run training camp for 85 first-time MLAs

Chandigarh -Punjab has not only delivered an unprecedented mandate in favour of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) but the election result has also led to the emergence of a new political class. In the 117-member assembly, 85 are first-time MLAs, indicating a generational shift in Punjab’s polity. According to the latest updates seasoned politicians will be mentoring these members of Punjab Legislative Assembly. Speaker assembly of the Assembly Kultar Singh Sandhwan is expected to oraganise this camp prior to the budget session. Notably, staff from Lok Sabha, veteran  politicians will be called to train MLAs The class of MLAs is expected to run from 10 AM to 5 PM. -PTC News
