Punjab declares winter vacation in all govt and private schools

Punjab winter holidays 2021: Punjab on Tuesday declared winter vacation in all the government and private schools from December 24 to 31. The schools in Punjab will remain closed from December 24 to December 31 as a part of winter vacation. This time the schools will only be closed for 8 days and hence the schools will reopen for functioning on January 1, 2021. The Government also said that the decision has been taken in the wake of a dip in mercury levels.
