Punjab Government takes U-turn! Punjab curfew not extended till April 30
Punjab government on Wednesday took a U-turn on the decision of extending the curfew imposed in the state. The state government released a document related to the orders of work from home for all the government employees till April 30. However, the eighth point of the letter stated that all those orders regarding the curfew/lockdown have been extended till April 30. Soon after this hit the headlines, the Punjab Government made a U-turn and withdrew the letter. However, there has been no reason stated for this withdrawal. Responding to this immediately, Raveen Thukral, media advisor to Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, took to Twitter and wrote: "No decision on the extension of curfew/lockdown in Punjab beyond April 14 so far."
