Punjab CM reaches Amritsar airport to receive CJI NV Ramana

Amritsar, April 13: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday welcomed the Chief Justice of India Justice NV Ramana during his arrival to the holy city.

The Chief Minister welcomed Justice NV Ramana with a bouquet and accorded welcome to the state during his maiden visit. Bhagwant Mann said that the people of Punjab in general and the entire state government in particular is elated to welcome the Chief Justice of India and his family during their visit to Punjab. He also gave replica of Sri Harimandir Sahib as a token of love from the state to the Chief Justice of India.

On the occasion Chief Secretary Punjab Anirudh Tewari, Director General of Police VK Bhawra, Principal Secretary to CM A. Venu Prasad, Commissioner Jalandhar Division VK Meena, Deputy Commissioner Harpreet Sudan, Commissioner of Police Arunpal Singh, District and Sessions Judge Mrs Harpreet Kaur Randhawa and others were also present.
