Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann meets Sikh Society representatives in Gujarat

Ahmedabad (Gujarat), April 3: Representatives and dignitaries of the Sikh society of Gujarat called on Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Sunday, after the AAP leader along with party's national convenor Arvind Kejriwal visited the Swaminarayan Temple in Gujarat's Shahibaug. According to a recent tweet by AAP, both the leaders visited the temple to offer prayers for the country's peace and prosperity. Earlier on Saturday, after the Tiranga Yatra, both the leaders visited Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad, where they spun Charkha. During the yatra, the AAP leaders urged the people of Gujarat to give one chance to the party in the upcoming elections in the state. They further assured that AAP will end the cycle of corruption in the state after coming to power. Today, if you go to any office in Delhi, you don't have to pay a bribe," said Kejriwal during Tiranga Yatra. If you don't believe me, ask any of your friends in Punjab. Today, all work gets done in Punjab be it license office, tehsildar office, within 10 minutes," the AAP chief added. AAP top brass in Gujarat for poll campaign Speaking to people during the roadshow, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann said, "Delhi and Punjab are sorted, now we are preparing for Gujarat." The Gujarat Assembly elections are scheduled to be held later this year. AAP's Gujarat hope has been fueled by its performance in the February 2021 Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) polls in which BJP won 93 seats, while Aam Aadmi Party bagged 27 seats and Congress drew a blank.
