Punjab and Haryana High Court designates 19 advocates as Senior Advocates

The Punjab and Haryana High Court on Friday issued orders to designate 19 advocates as Senior Advocates with effect from May 26, 2021. The list includes the prominent lawyer Harpreet Singh Rajan Brar. He had served as Chairman of Punjab and Haryana Bar Council. He was the elected president of the HC Court Bar Association for two terms. Meanwhile, two women lawyers — Gursharan Kaur and Baljit Kaur Mann — have also been designated as Senior Advocates. These are the 19 advocates of Punjab and Haryana High Court who have been designated as Senior advocates.

The Punjab and Haryana High Court on Friday issued orders to designate 19 advocates as Senior Advocates with effect from May 26, 2021. It may be recalled that 27 names were recommended by the committee formed under the Rules and forwarded to the full court. However, 9 were dropped by the full court.
