BSF officers release teaser, brochure showcasing tallest National Flag of India at Attari border
National Flag weighing about 200 kg, length 130 feet and width 80 feet, making it 18 feet taller than Pakistan's flagpole
Amritsar: Teaser portraying the tallest National Flag of India at Attari and a Pictorial brochure dedicated to 78th Independence Day was released today by BSF Deputy Commandant Devender Pal Singh along with BSF officers and Jawans during an event held at Attari border.
The teaser beautifully highlights the archetype of true patriotic structure, of the tallest 418 feet Flagpole with India’s Tricolour flag standing on a four-foot pedestal, making it a prominent eye-catching monument at the Attari border.
The National Flag weighing about 200 kg, length 130 feet and width 80 feet, making it 18 feet taller than Pakistan's flagpole across the border has been captured through the camera lens of eminent Nature artist and Heritage promoter Harpreet Sandhu, compiled in form of a teaser.
The teaser and pictorial brochure will be a source of great enthusiasm and pride for the citizens of Amritsar as well as Punjab as through the teaser the people across the country will witness the tallest Tricolour Flag of our Nation being a source of inspiration for the daily visitors witnessing the beating retreat border ceremony at Attari Border and encourage the people to respect the dignity of the National Flag, as it represents our Nation.
The pictorial brochure was distributed within the BSF jawans and women officers deputed at Attari. DPRO Amritsar Sherjung Singh Hundal also presided the function at Attari and described the pictorial work dedicated to 78th Independence Day, a meaningful initiative by nature artist Harpreet Sandhu.
