PTC News Desk: In a major breakthrough, Punjab Police in a joint operation with a central agency apprehended Simranjot Sandhu, the kingpin of the 487 kg cocaine smuggling case (2020) in Germany. 

He is a key lynchpin of an international drug cartel and is wanted in Germany for drug offenses.  

The arrest marks a major victory in the ongoing battle against narcotics trafficking.

Sandhu, who has strong international connections, was a key figure in smuggling drugs into India and various European countries.

The Punjab Police, under the guidance of Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann is dedicated to dismantling these drug networks and achieving a drug-free state.

As the investigation progresses, the Punjab Police and central agencies remain vigilant in their mission to dismantle the drug networks that threaten the safety and security of the nation.
