Punjab's Mandi Gobindgarh man, 1 other killed as vehicle falls into gorge near Timber Trail Resorts
Four others sustain injuries; driver booked for rash and negligent driving

Mohali web desk: In a tragic incident just a day ahead of a new year, two people died and four were injured when their Innova fell into a gorge near Timber Trail Resorts in Parwanoo. The incident took place in the wee hours of Saturday. The deceased were identified as Ravi Singla, aged 39 from Mandi Gobindgarh and Radheshyam, aged 21 from Samastipur in Bihar. They were declared brought dead at hospital.
After getting the information, a Parwanoo police team and fire station staff reached the spot located near Timber Trail Resorts.

The police said the injured were Ravinder Kumar, Balram, Chandan Kumar and Kundan Kumar, all residents of Gobindgarh.

The driver has been booked for rash and negligent driving. Further investigations are on. Their family have been informed. The bodies would be handed over after a postmortem examination.
