Punjab trader Harjinder Dhindsa accuses ex-MLA Mangat Ram Bansal of implicating him in false case

Chandigarh, April 4: Punjab's businessman Harjinder Singh Dhindsa made serious allegations against former MLA Mangat Ram Bansal and said that the former MLA along with the Mansa police, got a false case registered and was blackmailing him and trying to get other cases registered as well.

As per the sources, former MLA Mangat Rai of  Budhlada falsely accused businessman Harjinder Singh Dhindsa of taking him hostage by getting a false FIR lodged, demanding a ransom of 50 lakhs and threatening to kill him.

Harjinder Singh Dhindsa held a press conference at Chandigarh Press Club and informed about the false F.I.R. So MLA has got it registered against him, and he has come to know that many more false cases are being registered. He said about demanding money. 

While addressing media, Harjinder Dhindsa said that in the interview given to a TV channel MLA Dhindsa said that he does not know Harjinder at all, if it's true  who is in the video? Harjinder said that everything would be clear when the call records of both of them are matched. 

Harjinder also feared that if he goes to work there, there is a danger of attack on him, so this whole matter should be investigated by an independent agency. Harjinder also bleedo CM Punjab and government to safeguard him and if anything wrong happens with him , Ex MLA Garg be held responsible.


What's the matter ?

Harjinder Singh Dhindsa said that his sewer line contract was running on the main road outside MLA's school and college, during this time the former MLA asked him to connect the sewer line of his school, college and office to the main line, which he refused as it was not a part of contract. In order to put pressure on them, the ex-MLA got the FIR lodged against the Harjinder with a false story of extortion.

What is the case as per FIR ?

On February 24, Mangat Rai Bansal, a former Congress MLA from Budhlada constituency in Punjab, was held hostage by three unidentified persons at his family-run educational institution in Mansa's Bareta town on Friday evening. Unidentified people came in a white Innova car. Taking Mangat Rai hostage, he demanded a ransom of 50 lakhs. When Mangat Rai Bansal opposed him, he attacked the former MLA. He got injured in this incident. He was admitted to the Government Hospital (Budlada) in an injured condition. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and registered a case and started investigation.
