Punjab: Stray dogs kill nine-year-old boy in Patiala village
The boy was playing near his home when he was attacked by stray dogs
PTC Web Desk: In a tragic incident reported from Dhingi village, Nabha, in Patiala district on Sunday evening, a pack of 10 stray dogs attacked and fatally injured a nine-year-old boy, identified as Shivam. The boy succumbed to his injuries before reaching the hospital.
Shivam, the son of daily wage labourers, was playing near his home when the stray dogs surrounded and attacked him. The villagers rushed to his aid, but he died of severe injuries. The family also took him to the nearest hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Residents have urged the local authorities to implement strict measures to control the stray dog population and prevent such harrowing incidents in the future.
