Punjab Police, BSF recover Pak drone from Punjab’s Amritsar

PTC News Desk: A joint team of Border Security Force (BSF) and Punjab Police, on Monday morning recovered another Pakistani drone on the outskirts of Rattan Khurd village in Punjab’s Amritsar district. 

The drone was recovered from the Rattan Khurd village in Amritsar district following a search operation launched by the BSF and Punjab Police on specific information.

Notably, on August 6 at around 10 pm, Border Security Force troops deployed at border heard buzzing sound of a suspected flying object entering from Pakistan to Indian Territory near Rattan Khurd village in Amritsar district. 


On Monday morning, in a joint search operation by Punjab Police and BSF, one drone along with damaged battery has been recovered from the farming field.  

The drone was of Hexacopter model series. 

BSF Punjab Frontier also took to their official Twitter handle and wrote, “Pakistani drone recovered... Based on a specific input, a joint search operation by @BSF_Punjab &  @PunjabPoliceInd led to recoverery of a Pakistani drone (a hexacopter) that had violated Indian Airspace last night in Village Rattan khurd, #Amritsar #AlertBSF.”

Vigilant troops of BSF and Punjab Police once again recovered the nefarious design of smugglers.
