Punjab Education Department sets Aug 10 deadline for transfer applications
Dept clarifies that this will be only round of transfers for the year, as mid-year transfers can disrupt students' education
PTC Web Desk: The Punjab Education Department has set the deadline of August 10 for the submission of transfer applications by Saturday (Aug 10). Employees who have made errors while entering information on the transfer portal will have the opportunity to correct them before the deadline. After this period, no further corrections or applications will be entertained.
The Punjab Education Department has issued an official notice stating that no offline applications or certificates submitted in person will be accepted.
The department also addressed issues reported by employees in the exempted category, where some certificates were either not uploaded successfully or were not accessible on the online portal. The department has instructed affected individuals to revisit the portal and ensure their documents are correctly uploaded and visible.
The transfer process, which began on July 25, is being conducted in accordance with the 2019 policy. The department has clarified that this will be the only round of transfers for the year, as mid-year transfers can disrupt students' education.
