Punjab dissolves 76 panchayat samitis; administrators appointed

PTC Web Desk: In a major decision, the Punjab Government has dissolved 76 Panchayat Samitis across the state. To ensure continued functioning, District Development and Panchayat Officers (DDPOs) have been appointed as administrators. The Chief Secretary issued the notification regarding the dissolution of these committees. Panchayat Samiti and Zila Parishad elections are expected to be held soon.
