Punjab: BSF recovers narcotics from Pakistani drone in Tarn Taran
Tarn Taran, February 9: The Border Security Force troops deployed at Tarn Taran border once again foiled the nefarious designs of smugglers to smuggle contrabands.

BSF troops recovered suspected narcotics on Thursday night. The troops deployed at border heard buzzing sound of a suspected flying object entering from Pakistan into Indian Territory in the area near Village Mianwala in district Tarn Taran.
As per the sources, troops endeavored to intercept the drone by firing. The whole area was cordoned and Police & concerned sister agencies were informed.

During the search operation, BSF troops recovered 01 bag containing 03 packets of narcotics item suspected to be heroin (Gross wt. - 3.240 kgs) wrapped in a yellow adhesive tape alongwith 01 Pistol, 01 Magazine and 05 rounds from the farming fields.
