Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to visit Punjab and to address three public rallies in Punjab on May 23 and 24

PM Modi visit to Jalandhar : With the aim to extensively participate in the party's electioneering for two days, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to visit Jalandhar today to address public rallies. 

PM Modi on May 23 addressed a public gathering in Punjab's Patiala district in the run-up to the Lok Sabha elections in Punjab.  

Upon his arrival at 'Royal City', PM Modi was accorded a warm welcome by leaders and part workers. 

Following Patiala's public rally, PM Modi all set to visit Jalandhar today.


Route Diversions in Jalandhar

In light of the Prime Minister of India's visit to Jalandhar on May 24 to participate in a public rally at PAP Ground, Commissionerate Police Jalandhar has announced the following route diversions for heavy and commercial vehicles. 

These diversions will be in effect from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm for security reasons.

Affected Routes

Amritsar to Ludhiana

 - Diversion Route: Subhanpur → Kapurthala → Kala Sangian → Noor Mehal → Phillaur


Ludhiana to Amritsar

- Diversion Route: Phagwara → Mehtiana → Hoshiarpur → Tanda → Begowal → Nadala → Subhanpur


Ludhiana to Himachal Pradesh/Pathankot

 - Diversion Route: Phagwara → Mehtiana → Hoshiarpur → Tanda
