Mohali mishap: Worker dies after lintel of 3-storey building collapses
The deceased has been identified as Jaswinder Singh of Chuharmajra near Landran. While three others have sustained injuries who were immediately rushed to Phase-6 Civil Hospital.
PTC News Desk: A 28 year worker killed after lintel of a 3-storey showroom collapsed in Sector 118, TDI City in Mohali on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Jaswinder Singh of Chuharmajra near Landran. While three others have sustained injuries who were immediately rushed to Phase-6 Civil Hospital.
According to the locals, the lintel of the second floor was being laid when the lintel of first floor collapsed trapping workers under the debris. Officials along with rescue team reached the spot as soon as the information was received.
The supervisor and two other workers are currently at large. An inquiry will be conducted and action taken. A technical committee is probing the Sohana building collapse and the report will be submitted soon," Grewal said.
