Ludhiana, December 24: Special Task Force of Ludhiana police on Saturday arrested two smugglers and also seized 8kg heroin from their possession. The consignment was smuggled by a Pakistani drone.
The seized heroin is expected to be worth around Rs 40 crore in the international market.
The arrested accused have been identified as Heera Singh alias Rajvir (30) and Anmol Singh (22), both residents of Amritsar.

On Saturday, STF AIG Snehdeep Sharma, DSP Davinder Chaudhary, and STF Inspector Harbans Singh held a press conference about the incident.
According to officials, the accused reportedly collected the consignment from the Lopoke village of Amritsar.
