Ludhiana Court Blast: A low-intensity blast was reported in the district court complex of Ludhiana in Punjab, Thursday. As per the information, the explosion took place when the sweeper was setting fire to a pile of garbage.
The explosion led to panic and chaos among the people outside the court.
As soon as the explosion took place, he police personnel have been deployed inside and outside the court complex and an anti-bomb squad has also been called for the investigation.
As per the information collected from the preliminary investigation, in the morning when cleaning workers were sweeping the court premises, a bottle like substance exploded and hit the worker.
The worker is injured and is undergoing treatment in hospital.
Meanwhile, senior police officer Jagrup Kaur said that, “There is nothing to panic, the explosion was very small and should not be linked to any major incident. The investigation is underway.”
