Lawrence Bishnoi interview: SIT submits report to Punjab & Haryana HC confirming Bishnoi's 1st interview within boundaries of Punjab

Lawrence Bishnoi interview: In a significant development, it has been revealed that the interview of Lawrence Bishnoi, the prime accused in Sidhu Moosewala's murder, was conducted within boundaries of Punjab

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) which was conducting an investigation into gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's alleged TV interviews conducted from a Punjab jail submitted a preliminary report to Punjab and Haryana High Court regarding Lawrence Bishnoi's first interview within the boundaries of Punjab. The report was handed over to them in a sealed envelope today.

Taking a serious note of Lawrence Bishnoi's jail interview, Punjab and Haryana High Court ordered an SIT investigation into the matter.  

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) including DGP Prabodh Kumar , AIG Dr S Rahul and Nilambari Jagdale was formed to thoroughly investigate the circumstances under which the interview took place. 

The SIT's preliminary report indicates that Lawrence Bishnoi's interview did indeed occur within Punjab's boundaries, confirming suspicions that have circulated since the interview's initial release. 

However, the details of the report remain confidential as it was submitted in a sealed envelope.

The SIT also requested additional time from the Punjab and Haryana High Court to continue and complete their investigation. 

Lawrence Bishnoi, a notorious figure with multiple criminal allegations against him, remains a central figure in various ongoing investigations. Bishnoi is one of the main accused in the 2022 singer Sidhu Moosewala murder case.
