Kingpin of highway robbers gang arrested after encounter in Mohali's Lalru

PTC News Desk: Following an encounter near Dappar in Lalru on Sunday, police nabbed the kingpin of highway robbers and snatchers.

The accused, Satpreet Singh alias Satti of Dandrala village in Mohali, has been arrested at the Lalru police station.

Police seized one weapon and five live rounds from him.

Satti's gang targeted vehicle drivers on the Ambala-Dera Bassi national highway and had previously committed thefts and snatchings in Punjab and Haryana.
