Lawrence Bishnoi's health deteriorates: Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi was admitted to the Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital after his health deteriorated late Monday night. He was rushed to hospital from the Bathinda Jail, where he is currently lodged for the murder of famous Punjab singer Sidhu Moosewala.
According to Bishnoi's lawyer, the gangster has been suffering from a stomach infection and has had a high fever for some time. The lawyers also stated that Bishnoi, who was fasting for Saawan on July 4, had jaundice. This exacerbated his health further.
He has now been shifted to a room with tight security.
In an interview with ABP news in March, Bishnoi claimed that he had no involvement in the murder and that Goldie Brar was the one who reportedly murdered Sidhu Moosewala.
From within the prison, Bishnoi said that Moosewala's assassination had been ongoing for a year.
Bishnoi went on to say that Brar was involved in the murder and was aware of the plot but had no part in it. He claimed that because Sidhu was strongarming their anti-gang, he informed Brar that he was an enemy.
Moosewala was shot dead on May 29, 2022, in Mansa, Punjab. The incident occurred a day after the Punjab government removed his security.
