Guru Nanak Dev Ji Gurpurab 2024: Foreign tourists adorn Turbans to commemorate auspicious day

PTC News Desk: On the 555th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Akali Dal's youth wing organised a 'Meri Dastar Meri Shaan' campaign at Darbar Sahib, Amritsar. The turban tying campaign was organised to inpire more and more youth to wear turban. 


To commemorate this auspicious day, large number of people throng to celebrate Gurpurab and this campaign became a huge attraction drawing attention of tourists who with great enthusiasm came forward to participate while getting their turbans tied and chanting 'Meri Dastar Meri Shaan' slogans.

The leaders of Youth Akali Dal were also present at sight and expressed their happiness to get this opportunity to serve.
