ED raids AAP MP Sanjeev Arora's house in Punjab's Ludhiana

ED conducted searches at the home of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjeev Arora in Ludhiana, Punjab on Monday. According to officials, the raids were carried out as part of a money laundering investigation.

PTC News Desk: ED conducted searches at the home of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjeev Arora in Ludhiana, Punjab on Monday. According to officials, the raids were carried out as part of a money laundering investigation.

According to sources, Arora, an AAP Rajya Sabha MP, is accused of purchasing land through fraud.

Following the raid, the AAP MP took to social media platform X and that he is "not sure about the reason for search operation" and will "make sure all ED's queries are answered.

The investigation agency also conducted raids on the home of a businessman in Ludhiana.

Senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia reacted strongly to the ED action, claiming that they raided many of his party's leaders but found nothing.

"Since this morning, the ED has raided the residence of Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora. In the last two years, they raided Arvind Kejriwal's house, my house, Sanjay Singh's house, Satyendra Jain's house... nothing was found anywhere," he said.
