Chandigarh: The farmers' meeting with the police administration ended inconclusively. Farmers will now march to the Punjab Vidhan Sabha tomorrow, September 2, from Sector 34, Dussehra Ground.

Notably, hundreds of farmers and labourers arrived in Chandigarh on Sunday with their tractors/trolleys, private vehicles, and buses to protest the recurring delays in the implementation of an agriculture policy. Protesters, under the banner of BKU (Ugrahan) and Punjab Khet Mazdoor Union (PKMU), have been permitted to camp at Sector 34, Dussehra Ground.

The farmers plan to camp in Chandigarh for four days. On September 5, they will meet and decide whether to stay in Chandigarh or return to Punjab.
