AP Dhillon Chandigarh concert: Trouble mounts for singer as cab union starts hunger strike at concert venue

The cab union has started their hunger strike to press the authorities to meet their demands.

PTC News Desk: The troubles seem to be mounting for Punjabi singer AP Dhillon Chandigarh Tricity Cab Union has started a hunger strike at rally ground in sector 25, Chandigarh which is the concert venue for Dhillon. 


The cab union has started their hunger strike to press the authorities to meet their demands. The union president Amandeep Singh said that the administration has turned a blind eye towards them and has been ignoring their demands for a long time now against which they have launched a protest and are sitting on hunger strike. 


The cab union has warned to continue with the strike as long as their demands are not met. They have also warned to launch a large-scale demonstration if no action is taken any sooner. 


The strike is likely to have its implications on the AP Dhillon's concert which is scheduled for December 21 at rally ground. Earlier the concert was supposed to be held at sector 34 exhibition ground. However the venue was later shifted on the heels of controversies surrounding the public events and large gatherings.
