Ajnala clash: Muktsar police now learning 'gatka' skills at Police Lines
Ajnala clash: Punjab's Anjala policemen were taken for a surprise when a 1,000-odd people broke barricades and entered the Ajnala police station seeking the release of one Lovepreet alias Toofan, a close aide of 'Waris Punjab De' head Amritpal Singh.
Taking lessons from the incident, the Punjab's Muktsar police have started learning Sikh martial arts skills, knows as ' ‘gatka’. The Muktsar police force have hired the services of two 'nihangs ', who are teaching them 'gatka' at the district Police Lines here.

Avtar Singh, DSP, Headquarters, Muktsar, said two ‘nihangs’ were called to the district Police Lines. They showed their ‘gatka’ skills to QRT and armed police. At least 250 policemen participated in this anti-riot drill. It would continue in the future as well, he added.
