PUNBUS sacked employees climb atop water tank, protest over outsourcing recruitment process

Chandigarh, October 1: The sacked employees of PUNBUS, PRTC and Punjab Roadways climbed atop water tank protesting over Punjab Government’s new recruitment process through outsourcing. The contractual workers union hold protest at Chandigarh depot. Some of the sacked employees raised slogans and also protested at Kharar and demanded to stop the recruitment process. They further stated that seeing the government’s new process of hiring through outsourcing, the employees stage dharna and some of the employees even climbed water tank to protest. ਪਨਬੱਸ 'ਚ ਆਊਟਸੋਰਸਿੰਗ ਦੀ ਭਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਵਿਰੋਧ, ਕੱਢੇ ਗਏ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਾਲੀ ਟੈਂਕੀ 'ਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹੇ The employees threatened the administration that they will not come down from the water tank until their demands will not be fulfilled and appealed the government that the employees who have put in 10-10 years in the department should be reinstated and outsourcing recruitment should be stopped.
