Farmers protest latest news: While the people from across India stood by farmers and participated in Bharat Bandh protesting against the farm laws 2020, PTC News also stood for farmers and raised its voice against farm laws 2020.
PTC News and its team expressed solidarity with the farmers and joined protest besides raising slogans against the farm laws 2020 at Sector 17 Plaza in Chandigarh.
Amid Bharat Bandh, the streets are all deserted as people from across the nation have been supporting a fight against the 'anti-farmer' laws.

Talking about the latest news regarding the farmers protest, the farmers are all set to meet the Union Home Minister Amit Shah at 7:00 pm on Tuesday.
"We have a meeting with the Union Home Minister Amit Shah at 7 pm today. We are going to the Singhu Border now and from there we will go to the Home Minister," said Rakesh Tikait, Spokesperson, Bharatiya Kisan Union.

A delegation of 13 farm leaders will meet the Union Home Minister out of which 6 farm leaders are from Punjab.
The farmers have got a proposal from the Centre regarding the December 9 meeting.
The farmers’ have been protesting against the Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020, and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020.
