Protests erupt in India after attack on Nankana Sahib Gurdwara in Pakistan
Major protests have been erupted in India a day after an angry mob attacked Gurudwara Nankana Sahib in Pakistan, the birthplace of Sikh faith founder Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Several Sikh leaders including Shiromani Akali Dal and Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) president Manjinder Singh Sirsa took to streets and gathered outside the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi to protest against Pakistan over the mob attack on Nankana Sahib. https://twitter.com/ANI/status/1213386461879209984 Meanwhile, Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal has condemened the attack and urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take up the matter with Pak PM Imran Khan saying that the minorities there are not feeling safe. Meanwhile, Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal took to twiter and wrote: "Persecution of minorities in Pak is a reality. Today’s attack on Gurdwara Sri #NankanaSahib has shown its horrible face.
